To answer my own question (ha!), other than possible minute differences, the only difference between them is the part number on the box. The part numbers on the mounts are the same too, 3985541-2.

Nice mirrors BTW, thank you. But GM's tap screws aren't near as nice as their grade 8, which are intended for a nut on the inside. I'll be using those, even if it means to drill and add nuts. If anyone has reinforcements with nuts and the metal is good, I'm all ears, send me a PM. OER works too.

I opened mine today and they were immaculate except for some 45 year old fingerprints. A little Windex and Simichrome and they now shine like the sun. Thanks again John.
