Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Had some time yesterday so I disassembled front sheet metal. Taking it to have it dustless blasted to remove all the surface rust. Also drilled holes for fender emblems.

Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Sweet build!
Can you show some pictures of your steam vent tap in to your water pump? Doing the same build on my 68. Where did you get the mount/holder for your Ecm? Awesome job! |

Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Got the ecm mount on ebay from a company called psi. Steam port was drilled and tapped into front of water pump on a flat spot. I'll try and take a picture this evening for you.

On another note, my heads had the back steam vents blocked when I bought it. Now, I had already bought a Trick Flow kit that pipes all 4. Do you know if it's necessary to plumb all 4, or does it matter? No one can answer that question in my circles... Thanks again |

Getting ready for paint next month. I bought a new cowl hood and fenders. Started taking off all the old under coating from bottom of cab.

Got firewall holes welded up and started to block off fresh air vents. Got everything loaded up and to the painter today. Also drilled and tapped holed for courtesy light switches in door jambs.
