Re: Rarest truck

I know mine isn’t THE rarest but I know it’s up there. It seems that early years (67-68) it was less common to have lots of options than in the later years. I have seen around 8-10 first year big block shortbeds online but I haven’t seen another in factory black. I don’t have the time or money for the factory restoration it deserves, but I’m saving up all the hard to find OEM brackets/etc and not modifying anything that can’t be undone later.

That's a 255/85/16 with still more than a foot to the cab. Are you sure it's not a Longhorn?

I don't think there was a longhorn stepside. It would be an 8 or 9' box.

a 'Longhorn' is 133" wheelbase, 8.5' fleetside bed w/ wood floor, no factory made steel floor longhorns..

not to say they didn't make the longer 9' steppers, but they aren't 'longhorns'

I'll be! So there are 8' long beds, 8.5' Longhorns (fleetside wood floor only), and 9' stepsides? I guess I forgot that.

I agree this one is very rare, and also very desirable. Not enough photos of this beauty posted on the forum in my humble opinion.

Re: Rarest truck

This truck is rare/desirable with it's higher end package and options. You don't see too many Cheyenne Super K10 shortbeds with factory bucket seats. This one will get a full restoration back to factory colors and interior.

I have a low production 1/2 ton 67 4x4 panel truck. I’ve been collecting parts to make it a high option money pit.
