Re: Red Truck 2.0
Right before I got the OBS done they announced the Hot Rod Power Tour dates and venues. I have done a few partial power tours in my T bucket and Camaro, but always wanted to long haul. So now I have a dead line to drive the truck on Power tour.
When I got the truck back in the garage, i got started on the interior. I put some "sound deadener" down and wired up the stereo. I installed a factory digital stereo and ran the same Kenwood bluetooth amplifier i have in my Camaro. The factory stereo works through the amp until I turn on the bluetooth. I also still have the Crunch sub boxes and alpine amp that was in the truck from high school. So i ran all the wiring before installing the carpet. Also installed new Kenwood dash speakers and 4x10's in the rear. Had my friend at work 3D print a block off plate for the ash tray to install the controller for the bluetooth amp on.

Re: Red Truck 2.0
After the stereo was working, I got the carpet seat and seatbelts installed. After that i got the power windows and locks wired up because this was a non power truck. I used all factory wire harnesses for it but did the relay upgrade at the doors to make the windows faster. Then I got all the headliner trim and board cleaned up and ready to go in. It's wild because I have had this parts for quite a few years now and had to keep shuffling them around and now they are all getting installed.

Re: Red Truck 2.0
The whole time you had your interior out, you should have had me restore your seatbelts, gotten them cleaned up.
It’s looking like a truck again ![]()
