Re: the cleanest K20 that ive seen for sale
Yeah no kidding. By these eyes the finish on everything is top notch.
I wonder what he used on his hood hinges and brake system? That looks sharp. The inner fenders semi-gloss, in your opinion? I don't have the paint code info. but seems orange/white would have been two tone as opposed two tone deluxe.

Re: the cleanest K20 that ive seen for sale
Just added the chrome center caps. I had a super nice set of stainless caps chrome plated and they turned out great.

Your truck motivated me to duplicate the gray on your hinges and upper brakes, should I paint the truck dark blue. Looks great with Hugger orange as well.

Different tires and wheels with those nice caps. Do you have a shot of it outside with the new stuff?

Re: the cleanest K20 that ive seen for sale
I think they did a great job. That's one of the nicest trucks I've seen on these forums... no shortage of old survivors actually, but few cleaned up to this level!
Just needs a repro R59 battery!

Re: the cleanest K20 that ive seen for sale
Dan,
The truck is looking great. I prefer the wheel tire combo you have on it now, versus the 33/12.50's I had on it when you bought it. Must be a sign of me getting older, as I like the original wheel/tire combo on K20's now. I think I had told you before, if I were to do it over again, I would have gone with the same wheel/tire set up you have on it now, versus the 33's. But, I had those wheels and tires well before the restoration began, so I stuck with them. Anyway, glad to see some new pics of the truck and it makes me proud that you're happy with it. Miles |

Every now and then a new benchmark appears. This is one. I can't get enough.
This is centerfold material.
