Naturally the transport wheels have a 3" opening and my axles are 3.5"!!! Now I get to order some spacers.

You really need to machine the axle pilots down to 3", would be best. Or have a set of axles made. I'm not sure if Moser is still doing the 2 "C" clip axles for $260.00 anymore..

On my next build I will just do 4 wheel disc and the 5 lug conversion. The spacers I got were recommended by several guys on this forum.

I'm running those spacers on my rear wheels, they are stout, although mine are 5 lug

You do have to buy new short lug nuts to fit in the spacers grooves and then metric lug nuts to match whatever you are using on the front as this spacer is made for a Toyota. Unfortunately, it's the only one big enough to clear the rear axles.

I used locktite on the spacer lug nuts just in case.

Actually, they did. Though I don't know all the details on when they stopped doing it but from what I can find, some had it up to 71 or 72

Build is looking pretty good. Nice job.

Took a bit of elbow grease and a can of black spray paint to get the overspray off (I even had the engine covered!) but I finally got the engine bay detailed.
