Got mine the other day. modded the one today. when I went to bend that spring bracket the other way it broke. drilled a hole in the wiper arm and put it the spring in it. I used a rivet instead of a bolt on mine to swap the arm.

Did I hear someone mention a 15" blade? Or is 14" the number to go with?

I'm actually looking to find the J Hook style of arm to work and since I have access to everything at work I will see what I can find. If I find anything I will let you know.

thanks for pointers here. for my 1966 c10 fleetside.

i took a chance and ordered some adjustable blades off amazon. the hint was the jeep arms. the key was the 1/2 drum connector, the length of arm, and these actually have an end tilt adjustment. they flip up, take standard 13" blades and the black actually looks pretty nice against the window rubber. here's the the part on amazon.

they go on and adjust super easy with just a couple Allen wrenches.

FYI, I haven't installed them yet but went to Summit Racing Equipment and had them order two arms for rear window 1990 Cherokee. $16.99 each, Junk yard wanted $25 each for used. Summit p/n CWA-56000598. They are the correct length, about 14 inches and they have the spray jet and hose attached. Saw them on Rock Auto also, but description said they were 18 inches long. I think this was an error, and these would have been the exact same.

I did not see what part number to use for the wiper blade?

Is RockAuto the only place to get these. Is this it:

Where do you get the 14” blades?

For the arm, I used the Dorman PN 42873. You should be able to get it wherever Dorman products are sold.

On the blade, any blade that uses the same mounting point as the arm will work. It doesn't have to be a rear blade specific to the Cherokee

I also ordered 42873, which come with squirters (conspicuously absent on my '61). Have done nothing with them yet, as I'm a long ways away from even installing the windshield....

I was thinking about using the squirters on the arms, but I couldn't figure out a way to get from the much larger hose I had from my reservoir to the very small hose on the arm. I ended up using a set of nozzles from a 67-72 and put them in the factory holes already drilled in the piece under the cowl panel. Maybe one day I'll go back and try to get the arm nozzles to work

I'm sure there are hose reducers out there. I think I got some in a "handy pak" of wee hose T's and such.

I think most of these blades have two mounting styles built in, the J hook and pin style.

I finally got around to modifying the Jeep arm that I've had sitting around for years, to the driver's side on the 66. It was easier than expected.

I did use heat to bend the spring attach end in the opposite direction as I didn't want it to break.

I knew there was info on it here so I thought I'd bump this up to the top again. Nice write up.

BTW I think 14" blades would be too long on mine due to probable overlap.

First Time I did the spring replacement it was pure ass luck. Second set I built for my truck used my benchvice to pull the arm down far enough the slide the rivet in place.

I think I bought 14" blades last time. The ones I used have an offset mounting hole, so depending on which orientation, the blades will either barely hit or they won't
