Re: Beulah - '49 3100LS10
Thank you! After reading so many builds and working through mine, there are a bunch of things I'm buying and doing different on the next one.

Door repair
The PO laid a piece of shag carpet across the floorboard, and left it there to rot. Took out the floorboard, and where it was laying against the doors, it did some damage. In hingsight, this cab was probably too far gone. Last edited by b-mac; 05-05-2019 at 11:56 PM. |

I'm so jealous every time I see someone else's welds. Awesome job. When do you think you will be driving it?

Re: Beulah - '49 3100LS10
So back when back when I blasted the cab, I discovered that the bottom of the dash was pretty rough. Since I want to keep the cab pretty stock, bought a portion of a dash from PaulsPickupParts and was crazy enough to try to weld it in.
Took my time with both the fit (used a file) and welds, and it turned out damn near perfect. |

When he was really young, he used to stick whatever bolts I could find, into whatever holes they would fit into in the frame. Some day I'll be fixing all those rattles.
