Yeah man, the rear ends would fail under the load as well, plus the disc brakes in 67s left something to be desired.

[quote=Ekliptix;8331377]Better get one of each. . 1970 2wd blazer (road trip thread) is an investment. The C10, never gonna sell.

Beautiful truck. Opinions are like (*^()^, but a 2WD Blazer is my least favorite 67-72, more like I've never liked them beyond the parts.

Awe , Don't be a 67 hater just because it's the first year truck and it has the nicest front end and low production #'s , In 71 they had to add disc brakes and other options to make up for that bulldog nose and a big block to drag it down the road and get them sold ...

52napco I hear you great truck and memories you got there.
I order and bought that same years truck new, same colors but with a silver cab top blue body and silver bottom beautiful colors Silverado K10 4x4 short bed with most of options, wanted the big block but they came only in the 20 and 30 series, that truck back then cost me $19,500.00 not including interest and Uncle Sam share. Hate to say but it was stolen ten months later never to be found. Would of gotten a new one but didn't like the new 88 style at the time, was so bummed.
Sorry folks now back to the title. My truck would be a 67 short bed small window fleet side 327 4 barrel 400 trans buckets A/C white top white bumpers white around the head lights and just the grill inserts along with a light blue metallic painted body and blue interior or a 68 short bed pretty much fully loaded big block black in and out silver painted front with chrome bumpers with only the chrome head light buckets and chrome inserts.

I don't know what you're talking about, it's all Greek to me The reason for big change 72 to 73 is they'd already peaked-perfected the bodies by 72 and there was no where else to go

Re: Desirable Trucks

Any year custom camper, straight, low mileage, rust free with great original paint. The color combos and contrasts are really key in these years. Especially like the upper white and lower white body paint with white hubcaps and white block CHEVROLET letters on tailgate, appears to have the original wider 16.5's. not mine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/27487094475...100667.m2042of one.
