Yes, a complete new bed. It went together surprisingly well. Little massaging here and there but nothing major. Only thing I was disappointed in was the tailgate latch as it would rub on the gate when you pulled it open. I bought it all from a local vendor here in Alberta. For the life of me I can't remember the manufacturer, but I'm pretty sure it started with a T. I will have to check later.

Here’s mine getting a bath before going to bed for the winter. I added the white Steelies/caps and removed the 2” lift as pictured earlier in this thread.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!

Mine is still in early project stage. Have been making steady, but slow progress over the four years I have owned it. Probably about 15-20% done. Will be picking up the pace when I retire about two years from now!

Here is build thread in case anyone is interested.

That really is an awesome truck, in a ton of ways. Nice to see it still has the correct 205 shifter as well.

Re: LetÂ’s see some SWB K10Â’S!

Thanks guys! I originally bought the truck about 15 years ago to part it out and use the frame for another project. I just couldn't bring myself to parting it out though. The guy I bought it from never put it in his name and lost the title. I kept checking with him and he could never produce a title so it just sat. Finally I recently found a business card of the old owner that had owned it since 1973 and he was able to get a new title for me. As for now I'm going to clean it up and just cruise it. In the future I would like to do a full restore.

That shifter was used ‘70 (or ‘69 as well in certain blazers) only in manual transmission applications. 71-72 come straight up thru the floor and use the same shifter regardless of transmission.
