I had to roll it out of the shop so I could put the snow plow mount on my wrangler.

Just an update. It is alive!
Made the final connections, cycled the fuel pump a few times and it fired right up. Ran it a few minutes so I could top the trans fluid.
So cool how fast these fuel injected engines start and run.

What the wheel/tire brake set-up specs? Looks like C5/6 calipers but can't tell what the rotors are.

Front brakes are 13" C5. Rear are 12" 97 Camaro. See pic of the front.
I've used this set up on a number of projects. I like to be able to buy replacements at the local parts store. C5 booster and 2002 Camaro master.
Wheels are American Racing. 18"x8" in front. 18"x9" in the back.
Tires are 275/40 in the rear and 245/40 in the front.
It's been a great project. Best no rust no hit original paint car I've ever bought.
Planning to chassis dyno it in a couple months when the weather gets a bit warmer.

No spacers to clear the caliper set-up?

I like using OE spec parts for easy service replacements as well. I know I've read about clearance issues w/the TT2 wheels & the late model calipers which is why I asked. I'm currently up-sizing the brake set-up on another project (g-body Malibu). Got the spindles modded for the adapter brackets & currently set-up w/98-02 f-body calipers/12" rotors. Been searching wheel options that aren't freakin' $1k each, have the late 70's vibe, but will clear the brake set-up if I were to go up to the C5 Z51 13.4" rotor size. Currently scoping the AR 'Rallys' but can't find much info on caliper clearance.

Frustrating....

Very nice work! It's always nice when they fire right up. What did you do for a hub? Modified 3rd gen or? I have C5 rotors, 4th gen caliper, and a custom works hub on the front of my 71. I'm pretty sure the hub is a 3rd gen with the rotor machined off of it. I also got the longer studs. I didn't have to use spacers on mine to clear the calipers.

The inside of the spoke just barely touched the raised Corvette logo on the face of the calipers.
I got the hubs/bearings and C5 brackets from Custom Works. I don't know about them being turned down gen 3 rotors.
I've also used the same kit from Tobin at Kore3. His hubs are machined aluminum but are about $100 more money.

The 73 was a bare shell when I bought it. All stock sheet metal and rubber nose but no engine or trans or interior. Saw an add in Pontiac magazine in 1998. Zero rust sitting in a barn in Iowa. It was the typical lost interest project car. I put in a 455/400 turbo combo. It was featured in Car Craft Dec 2000.

Just quick update. Interior back in.
It runs and moves but running really rich. Typical for a non-tuned car.
So I contacted the two tuners I've used in the past for a chassis dyno tune and one didn't have an opening until mid-July and the other was early August. Both said that there is so much late model tuning for turbos, nitrous and other mods they are just swamped.
Both recommended a different shop that does tons of mail order tunes for mild LS combos so that's direction I'm headed.
I will let everyone know how it turns out.
