Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Worked a little tonight and got the other cab corner on. I need to finish putting any heat on the cab so I won't mess up my interior paint.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Craigslist is the best!
2 days ago I posted an ad that I had a black console I wanted to trade for a flip seat console. Today a guy showed up and we swapped even. I couldn't be happier and neither could he! While he was here I also sold him $70 of worthless plastic interior parts that were cracked or scratched on his truck that I would have ended up throwing in the trash. Nice.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Weak Picture Time.
I spent most of the day doing prep work and you would never know. I did manage to get a fair bit of seam sealer in my hair. Later, I put my old tag in the back window so I could drive around.

The flash makes the color look different in different photos, but you get the idea.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Drew,
Having done a complete rebuild of my '67 Corvette, I have an immense appreciation for your creativity, craftsmanship and amazing speed. That truck will be a real beauty and a wonderful "family" vehicle. Well done hardly seems to be adequate praise.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Yes, it is all inside. It probably works a lot better because of that. You won't want to do it though because you cant fit a radio anymore.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Thanks, but there are plenty of flaws I could point out. Most of my interior will get covered in something, I made sure my fake door and dash look perfect though.
I really think a lot of ya'll could paint if you just practiced a little. Then you wouldn't have to go through paint shop hell.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Made by Sharpe. Gun is a smaller gun called a Finex. 1.4 fluid tip. Better for tighter spots, but not super small.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Is that a factory blue? Either way, looks great. For some reason, I had it in mind that you were going to paint it like the pic in your avatar.
Are you going to do a two tone? |
