Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
I updated mine a little bit. Put a factory grill back in it and put some 275/60/15 tires on it. I think it looks a lot better.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Isn't it just totally amasing the difference a drop and rims/tires can make, but only when done properly, like yours, very nice transformation.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Here is a picture of my 1971 GMC sierra Grande which has factory air houndstooth seat and all the goodies. It still has the original drivetrain with only 82,000 miles. My father owned it and when he passed away it was left to me.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Dad and I spent a lot of time together so when someone says that hey like your truck ,or nice truck it always makes me think of him . I take very good care of it and have had it now for 3 years it usually makes it to the cruise ins and local shows that Dad would like to have attended.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
thanks bennett i dont have anymore pictures as of right now. Just got the wheels and tires right before i had to go out of state for work so took a couple pictures. You can see some of the progres pictures in my profile. i will update as i get more done oredered the rest of the stuff i need to finish this week so when i get home it should go quick. As for the wheels they are ridler 20x8 in the front and 20x10 in the rear with 255/40/20 and 275/40/20 tires was gonna go 295,s in the rear but was worried about clearence with the stepside.

pics of trucks seen on the route 66 tour. I'd never seen the headliner before, and custom upholstery, nice side mirrors

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
GMtrucknut, I understand about having your dads truck and wanting to take care of it. My dad passed away 4 years ago, and i got his 1971 C20 longhorn. He kept it in good shape, and I have continued to keep it up too. I think of him everytime i see the truck.
