Re: SoCal checkin' in
Hey Dano count me in for the BBQ, let me know if you need me to bring anything such as table, canopy etc. I had a great time hanging out at the Brothers show and representing the steppers.

Driver side door, I think I do. I bought a doorskin, but you know the leftside of my truck is where all of my damage was. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Theres the big show in El Segundo tomorrow, Saturday the 20th of August on Main St. Starts at 9am. 105 freeway west until it ends on Imperial like going to the beach. Keep straight until you hit Main St, make a left and find a place to park.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
So your going with the 73 front disc brake set up. And the 73 rear for the 5 lug setup? I have a 69 and I think our trucks share the same rearend. I just changed my axles to 5 lug that was it. Would not have changed, but I had some 5 lug rallyes. Do you have a doner truck?

Re: SoCal checkin' in
I have a 72 C20 Deluxe. All original except rims. I got it with 17" American Racing wheels on it. 350/350 just had the engine redone, nothing fancy just want it to last me a few more years until I figure out what I want to do with it. The only thing that upsets me is some idiot cut out the stereo and did a terrible job so I need to fix it some how or just clean it up. It is a long bed with the extra storage box built into bed but not sure what kind of lock it takes. It came with a tool box and it has an actual Rhino lining. I traded my 2001 supercharged Xterra for the truck plus $800. My wife seems to like it and my two year old loves it, it will be hers someday since I sold her 1970 nova. =( Oh, it has headers which I want to get rid of and put back on stock manifolds. That's in in a nut shell.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
VDOG,
Nice to hear from someone close, at least only 2 hours away....I just made a deal to buy the rolling chassis from the guy.... He still has a bed, cab, front clip and two sets of doors for the '73 c10.. I was going to use the frame but Im prolly gonna junk it, too many what ifs with putting my '61 on a '73 frame not to mention the labor and cost lol... Look on San Diego craigslist with the title 1973 c10, its a black truck... el_bole |
