Re: Did I missFront end Friday
I just got this one back together. The hood is back on too, just didn't get a picture of that 'cause it was raining tonight when we set the hood on.

Re: Did I missFront end Friday
Not a 67-72 but my mechanic told me to get a truck "built in this century."
A 2003 Tahoe 2WD, with a Vortec 4800 V8. [Coincidently 292 cubic inches but not an L6.] Just getting familiar with its goofy computer quirks. Still have the '71 Jimmy and '68 Stepside.

Re: Did I missFront end Friday
Well, it's being the Merry Trickster. I had to find the Child Safe window lock to get the Door #3 window up after parking at the ADOT/MVD to get it registered yesterday. [I can re-use my '92 Subaru Legacy plates. In AZ they designate the owner not the car.]
Also a loose negative battery terminal bolt would cause blackouts at the worst times. Naturally, I haven't got a trouble kit rigged up for it yet. And whenever I put the shifter back in Park, all the door locks unlatch. No OEM Fob, so I have to chase down each of the 6 doors to lock it up. [It's got barn doors.] On the way home from the PO's house, the Fuel Empty light ''Gonged'' on me, and I had to feed it 22 gallons of Regular. It wouldn't take any more. In fighter pilot slang, that's a ''Bingo'' Light. Thirsty sucker. Takes after her greatgrandmother White Fang, the '67 K/10 Suburban with a 454. I'm finding new gripes every day. Guy at NAPA R&R'ed the D/S Headlamp bulb. That was easy. But it handles good, and stops well. Something WF had trouble with.
