Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Got the rollbar in just in time for Fall. Top is still off, so I'm hoping for some more warm Winter days.

Mikekoala,

Great, strong looking Blazer! Where'd you find the roll bar?

Thank you. I looked for 2 years and couldn't find one so had one custom made with provisions for the harnesses front/back.

Here's mine how I found it and how it sits today! A lot can change with a quick buff and a set of tires!

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

I had this shipped from AZ last March. Its a 72 with a 68 front clip, The way I've always wanted to do one. Definitely a work in progress though, a long way from where I want it to be. Still worth giving up my 68 swb 4x4 to make room for it though.

That 68 clip looks great on there. Too bad the blazer didn't come out with the new body in 67.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Thanks, I think I'll go with the 68 bumper and turn signals when I tackle the body and paint. I like the smooth bumper look, but I gotta admit I like the 68 clip even more on a lowered 2wd blazer

May as well complete the look. I just bought that same rollbar for my blazer.

Wow! I really like the cowl hood on the 68 front! Is that a 1" cowl? Looks terrific!

Looks good. Do you wheel it or Just drive it? With those big of Tires id be scared. I've already blown out 2 rears in mine with 35s. So I went 3/4 ton and Havnt had a problem yet. 12 bolts 1/2 ton axles and big tires don't mix with me. Lol

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Ok here is mine. 1972 appears bone stock except for a 40+ gallon gas tank.
I have had it a week no rust been in a dealers garage for years sitting.
I just added a slide bar radio it works but has problems and will have to be
warranty replaced asap.
Cant wait to take the top off.
