Ray here.

At the risk of over thinking this they do not have time to answer there e-mails
never mind tracking a dozen or more forum threads(at least)
You would need at least one dedicated employee to do this.. most likely not happening.

Ray..

Ray this is going to hurt but...

Seriously, FiTech was/is reading this thread I'm sure they saw you tear apart their product, both the controller and the throttle body. Changing chips from controller to controller. I wouldn't warranty anything after someone completely took the thing apart, who knows what all you could of done to it.
I still don't understand how the controller "came apart" when it has screws in it. It did cause you took it apart.
Swapping parts from one unit to the next, and I think you dove in to the program and poked around and probably changed something where it wouldn't do a "reset".
You ever get the feeling there is more to the story then what someone saying? When you are ask a direct question you side step it and won't answer the question but instead says he's done talking about it.

Now that is the PG version for the forum members. I want put you on blast in front of the world. I know what's up with you and FiTech. What you did is wrong and deceitful. So may I suggest a graceful bow out from you. Like I said before I am the only one who has had a real issue. Now I am not trying to get a pissing match stared. Last I checked this is my build thread and not yours. So exit my thread. I will no long acknowledge you and I would suggest other members do the same.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Ray here.

I'm not hurt at all...It a two week turn around from were I am in NH.
If I can do something I will....or at least try. its just nuts and bolts not magic..
I know going in the warranty will most likely become null and void...

I don't filter my thought's very well most days. I have posted some things out of anger and frustration......I would not go back and change any of them...

I do hope there following this tread that will defiantly save me from a lot of phone calls
were I cant get across what am trying to say..

Ray.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Ray here.

Called Fitech today and apologize for my needless over reacting..
Things go wrong and I should be dealing with it in a proper manner even if it
takes more time than I would like or its not what I want to hear..
I will take the time that is needed!!! I really want this to work....

This is not my tread but after a week or more of ranting some my want to know it works out?...... I will let you know IN TIME......

Ray.

Keep up the good work Rod! I hope it works out for you. Mine will show up on the door step today(15th) by the end of day. Although mine is not an adder it still makes me nervous.

Aww. You will be good man. Just take your time and do a good install. I should have enough pics and stuff to give you a idea. If it works like mine did at the beginning you are going to be a happy camper!!

Same here. This is no BS they got it a Friday around 430 and straight put it on a test vehicle and tested it. Now that is customer service! Plus they are going to do more test on 2 other vehicle and drive them with it on it all this weekend!!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

XS Power batter installed and charging per instruction. I had to make a little mod to the battery clamp. Nothing a angle grinder couldn't fix.

I'm curious if this "customer service" would be the same for the 'who' (the rest of us) vs. you?

Watching closely regardless because I'm interested in something like this for my 64.
