Re: Hazel the older Sister....
It was tough getting pics of this truck.
People were crowded around it all weekend! Here's a picture from Friday,...

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I really like the engine compartment. I'm one of those guys that doesn't care for the billety look. He did a great job using modern components in such a way that they fool the eye so they look stockish. Nice work!

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Great job. Love the detail. Is the seat cover custom made or can it be purchased
somewhere? My 68 is dark green with the turquoise accents in the interier. Thats the seat I want!

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Great seeing you Texas guys and your killer trucks in Ks.! They only had about 20 late models come in on Sun. They are definitely re configuring the track in 2012 starting in June, so I guess we''ll be outside on the parking lot next year........Hazel Rocks!!

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Keith,
It was nice meeting you and Roger. I can't wait to pick your brain somemore on the bed floor and brackets. Your ride is sick and pictures don't do it justice. Glad you made it to GG Kansas. Stay in touch. |

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I didn't take to many pictures the last few weeks but I found a few on my phone that I took before that function stopped working, the iphone has seen better days
Anyway, here's a few of the battery box that I built. It bolts to the bed beams by the cab. The other ones are what I did to the backside of the hood.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I love the battery box...very cool idea on the under side of the hood too. I don't know if you won any awards at the GG show but you got my vote for the coolest ride for sure. I can honestly see you making some magazine spreads with this truck.
