painted all the frame parts with 3 coats of epoxy primer....

The frame got the same treatment, and then everything got 3 coats of clear...

after a few days to dry, I started to carefully reassemble everything, first the front suspension...

set the cab back on the frame to make room in the shop, I will have to take it back off 100 more times for the motor/trans, driveshaft, exhaust, etc. and to run the wiring for the taillights and the battery cable which run through the frame...

thanks! I'm very pleased with how it turned out, but it did require a lot of effort...now I could go the extra mile and cut and polish the frame but I'm not sure I wanna open another can of worms...

Nice job on the frame! When I saw your posts on IG, I thought it was a throwback. I didn't realize you hadn't painted it already. You got quite a bit done in a short amount of time. I need your motivation.

thanks! ...that frames been haunting me for awhile, so glad that's done! I find buying new parts/materials and getting great compliments on the forums and IG are a big motivator for me...
