Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
I hope to see this truck in person one day. I'm right down the road in Tomball. Mine has been a slow start but I must say yours is quite inspiring. I'm stuck in the static vs. air and 6-lug vs. 5-lug swap stage right now.

I really like the direction you've gone with your build. And the fact that you and your brother have done everything yourselves makes it even cooler. I look forward to seeing the rest of the build.

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Went home this past weekend and got some stuff done. Waiting on my brother to send me some pictures then I'll get them posted. Going back again this weekend to work on it. Not sure if I'll be bringing it to niftee fiftees since I really wanted to have the bed on first, but I'm going to the show regardless!

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Howdy!
David you are doing a great job on this truck. How are your classes going at A&M? Having fun at the football games, man I miss going to them.... Just read thru your whole thread. Looks like you have come along way. I have the itch to build one of this body style and I prefer the small window 67 but they are hard to find. What are you studing? Think you will finish the truck this year? Gig'Em

'67 small windows are also my favorite, but you're right...they're harder to find. I feel like I really lucked out with this one. I'd love to finish the truck this year and I don't think that's out of reach. My sister is getting married early January and they'd like to use it as a getaway truck so that'd be pretty cool! Things seem to be picking up so stay tuned. Gig'Em Quote:

Here's the Mar-K red oak and polished strips! Everything looks awesome in person and the quality is top notch. We sanded all the boards and they're ready for urethane. I decided to go with Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane gloss. Also decided to shave the stake pockets so my brother welded those up last weekend! |

Seam sealed along the top edge of the angled strips. |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Looks good. I like your choice for bed wood.
My boys and I were at he LATech game too. I plan to watch them tomorrow on TV. Looks like we got a good chance to go to a good bowl game this year! Keep plugging away!
