What is your plan for the door glass?
it will all be stock suburban glass except for the small piece at the rear of the back doors I will have it cut by a local glass shop.

what gear are you going to run behind the 700r4 transmission. I picked up a 308 a while back for the future. I am planning on a 700r4 myself.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

I started striping the passenger side front door and of course I found more rust, it didn't look that bad until I hit it with the wire wheel. I will cut a patch out of one of my parts doors to fix it.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

I fixed the door, I forgot to take a pic before I bodyworked it. All I did was cut a section out of the doner and used it to fix my door. Then I shot some epoxy on it, still need to shoot the other side.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

I finished up the passenger door bodyworked it, primed it, blocked it then primed again. I am happy with all the gaps and the overall fit of the doors.

I just read all 30 pages & I have to say it is really coming along. Your attention to detail is fantastic. It's going to be KILLER when you finish.
