Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

I love the Dagger G, almost bought them for my truck when I was looking. They would look awesome on yours but only come in 20's so no 22's in the rear for you. I like the 338's as well but like your current wheels more. You could always just powdercoat your current wheels.

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

I'm not so hung up on the 20/22 combo anymore. I like the thought of 13" brakes front and rear with 20x8.5s all the way around. It is a more symmetrical look, although I would stay with the same tire heights 28/30. Powder-coating mine is an option, we have a guy here in town that could do it, I plan to talk to him and see if he will do it and the cost.

You ain't kidding, throw some bikes and skateboards in and there's no room to do anything. Hopefully the new Casa de Buck will provide more space!

LOL, you're a lot more positive in person!

My problem is doing things two or three times to get what I like... I need to be more decisive!

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Started installing the Lokar brake pedal last night, but didn't get it finished. Ran into a clearance issue with the bolt that secures the push-rod and the steering column. Shaved some material off the head and did a trial fit then ran out of time. I'll get back on it tomorrow night. Here are a couple of pics until then...

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Pedal install is complete. As I showed before I had to grind the bolt head a bit but other than that it was a direct bolt in. I also like the pedal placement more than the original pedal, not such an extreme movement from the accelerator to the brake pedal.

That pedal looks great in there, hopefully they will make it in black to match my gas pedal assembly I already have

Impy suggested black back when I got the throttle pedal, but I like the contrast against the black floor mat. If you use carpet other than black the black pedals will look awesome!

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Pedals look awesome, nice work. I went to Summit's link and can't figure out why they don't have a picture of the pedal. This will be on my must have list for my project that's went stale for now.

They probably don't have a picture of it yet. This is the first pedal to leave Lokar as far as I know. I did the trial fit last year so they sent me a pedal for helping them. Great folks at Lokar!!

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Received and installed my new lap belts from The Filling Station today. A month or so ago I bought some 3 point style belts thinking they would be safer, but I just didn't like them. They didn't fit well. I like these original style belts much more!
