Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Yeah, heated coils = bad news. Sounds like the owner scored a cheap patina truck, slapped on some rallies and logos, lowered it as cheaply as possible, and looked to triple or quadruple his investment.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Here is my 55 1st series. I plan to swap it onto an 85 S10 LWB chassis (see cab lifter in background). This photo was taken Monday Jan 14th 2011, with temperatures in the mid 70's.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Started out as a '53 gmc, haven't worked on it since early Fall. Has a 6-link rear suspension w/ S10 front clip, discs and bagged all around with a 350/700r4. I need to get back working on it to get it ready for the summer! |

Do firetrucks count as "logo" trucks? It has patina, too, just didn't have a good photo.

Now for some REAL PATINA... my dads' 48 GM 1-1/2 ton. It is for sale in the trucks for sale forum, BTW.

April 72...i'd say.
Pics like this remind me how versatile these Trucks were.
