Re: The Ulitmate Craigslist find thread

If anybody has some standard C40/C50 fenders they want to go wider on, this guy's ad has a set of the wider C60 fenders he is looking to trade. Would make a better option for wider rear flares if you are running a dually or something and still want the wheel openings to match.

Well, that's interesting. Although you are right, I've seen some strange combo's through the years.

I think they went to 10 lug fronts in '71 or '72.

Re: The Ulitmate Craigslist find thread

I just checked a bunch of different '71 and '72 C-50's online and while many were 10-Lug, most were 5-Lug Fronts. Here is an example of one of them:

Interesting truck and I appreciate the quality and craftsmanship, but I would rather have it in the original condition shown in the picture, before they re-worked it.

Construction took over 3 years and 800+ man hours to get this truck built
366 miles"
He spent all that time & money and, didn't drive it.

Re: The Ulitmate Craigslist find thread

I've never personally seen one but I'm sure it could have happened. I have seen them turned into V-12s so anything is possible. Since this is not a "facts only" thread I am gonna go ahead and say there may be one out there. If anyone did it, it probably was the military.
