Re: Wild C10 project

Getting the rear end in place and ready for the suspension to go on. Jeff checked every measurement and angle approx 9 times, I think it's good..

Re: Wild C10 project

Wild project is right! Just read 30 pages and still don't know what this will look like. I think I like it. Maybe you could fill in the back window with metal, and put in a 67 style small window. Also curious to see what you are doing with the bed. Endeavor to persevere!!!!!

Re: Wild C10 project

That upper ball joint looks about maxed out. Is that on a drop spindle or the factory one?

Glad you took the time to read the endeavor this has been. Funny you say that about the back glass, I thought long and hard of doing that. It would give it that full 67' look. I just didn't know if it would look right with the 01' roof lines. Who knows it may happen...

I will try to clear up the ball joint situation... on the MMW setup, it will accommodate a 26" wheel and tire no problem. We are running the stock spindle, which the kit is designed for, and 22" wheels so we have plenty of room to go up in wheels size if wanted later. While I was testing the fitment of the parts I was able to bolt everything up with a 2x4 under the wheel. When time permits, I may get a pic with the extra clearance for ya!

Here's a pic showing the extra clearance and the ball joint maxed.
