I was there Monday and he has all body modifications done and was getting ready for primer and block sanding. I'm hoping two weeks.

Re: 58 GMC Project
Just a quick comment and question
The truck is BADASS from front to back bud, congrats on creating a rollin masterpiece My question is, why did you switch from the 58 front end to the 55? We have a 58 GMC short fleet we will be tearing into this summer and will be keeping the 58 front end just for the cool factor. I too have thought about swapping, just because of the availability of parts. Just curious why you made the switch |

Re: 58 GMC Project
Yeah, why did you switch? When I first got my 59 GMC I thought the 58/59 front end was a little ugly, but slowly it has grown on me, and now I really like the GMC front ends from 55 - 59.
The only real difficult part is the signal lights. Cal, I also check this almost daily for updates!

Re: 58 GMC Project
I personally like the 55 56 grill the most from the 55-59 years. Whenever I see a 57 I think there should be a big tongue sticking out of the center oval part of the grill. And the 58-59 while they are still cool trucks I just dont like the lines of the grill. Just my personal feelings towards it
