Re: My 68 swb build.
Fuel door looks great. Are you going to shave the rest of the marker lights of mess around with putting it into the fuel door?

No you do not have to use it...... it is a good idea from a safety standpoint........ trucks with manual trans do not have them.....

Re: My 68 swb build.
heres what i have in mind so i can get the column i found....someone point me in the right direction if im wrong....first of course get the column....mark the column and cut a hole (same dimensions as stock column) weld a tab to the shaft inside the column and mount the nss to the column the same way it would if it was stock.....

Re: My 68 swb build.
notice that plug in the link is a long straight rectangle. Ours are half moon shaped...there is an adapter (about $15) that connects the two...

Re: My 68 swb build.
oh..!!!! i now what you're talking about...lol i like to solder...so if i can find the ends i will strip and install new terminals to the wires and use the factory connector...that how i did every other one...ya its a pain in the ass, but it looks 10 times better when its a factory connector... what about the nss connector? do i need to find a 4 speed nss?

Re: My 68 swb build.
Or you could do like I plan on doing and cutting both end off and putting Deutsch connectors on. Be better and more reliable than the factory one and personally I think they look way cooler.
