Re: My 86 build

Sweet. Are you going with 2 x5 or 2x 4? The body is only 1-1/4 inches above the frame. I went with 2x 5 cause I only did 2.5 z. Im gonna have a hard time laying frame now I'm thinking. Hopefully the pirterbuilts get me another 1-1/2 inches lower than the stock lower arms....

Re: My 86 build

Looking good sir!

I took a quick glance through the pages where you installed the rear disks, but didn't see anything on the parking brake setup. Do you have that hooked up? I'm looking at getting the same rear disk kit for my truck, but wasn't quite sure what I'm going to do about hooking up the e-brake. Also, were you able to reuse your factory brake line fittings, or did you bend up new lines with new fittings for the Wilwood calipers?

I dont have the parking brake hooked up yet, but all I need is some new rear cables...I needed new brake lines anyway so I bent up some new ones, and I had to get a longer brake hose because of the 4-link and notch...you only need two fittings (1/4" brake line to 1/8" pipe thread) to install the kit...

I like that. I've been trying to think of what to do with my 87 grill and that never really crossed my mind.

Stealth for sure
it sure makes the lights stand out
try switching the high and low beam bulbs,
just bend the corner tabs in the buckets
i've done it,looks cool, would look cool on a lowered truck i think even more

Re: My 86 build

decided to work on my doors today instead of welding in the 2x4 on my frame...welded in the mirror holes, a coat of filler, a good sanding, and some primer and paint...
