Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
ill have to upload a pic in a month or so. Im currently 4 linking my LB 79 and doing ride tech coil overs , already completed the custom notch which ill have to upload. i tried to make my notch as stock looking as possible following the frame cuves and thickness. does anybody on this static drop thread have rear coil overs?

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
You can see the plate following the frames factory curves here. This is basically doubling up the frame thickness at the notch as well as boxing it in. It may add a little weight but i like the assurance of the strength.
PS. Me and my buddy who owns this shop are mechanical engineers and have the ability to reproduce this notch. Once we build my 4 link we may be able to offer a notch and 4 link kit with pan hard for cheap, compared to the popular brands.

Dredging up the dead but I have to get some details on you bobtail. I am considering the same and want to know how much you removed.
I am considering removing from both in front and behind the wheel well but want different proportions than a swb. |

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Over all, it drops the truck about 4in in the front and 6in in the rear.
Glad you liked the catalog, it took us a little while to get it printed but everyone seems to be happy with the results, it seems to be a lot more user friendly.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Thanks John, I love that stance! If you don't mind, what's the wheel and tire sizes?
And I would agree the package system is so easy to understand for newbies like me, I especially liked the photo of it literally all in a box! Rob |

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
No problem at all!
The wheels are 20x9 (rough measurement) and have a 255/45/R20 tire. The tires do rub a little bit. Probably a little too tall of a sidewall.

There are kits out there for that lowering configuration with springs and shocks.

you can do just a 2 inch spindle = best ride you can do just a 2 inch coil = awesome ride you can cut a loop off the stock springs and also get 2 inches = good ride
