J knight.....you might need some more tire on that dude. I don't think they are wide enough.
Great looking stance on your truck

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
This is an update photo from my last post here.
I put in the phantom grille I've had laying in the shop for a year in and I think it gives the 84' a whole new look? Had to shine it up and take it for a cruise too! |

Love the stance. What all did you do to lower it?

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Saweet!
That's what I like about these trucks just putem in the weeds and add bit of rubber and you got yourself a custom looking truck! btw thx for the comments and it always seemed to me you either love or hate phantom grilles no middle ground? I always get that "ol' skool" reply probably cause I'm not exactly a kid and that's the way we did it in the day, cragars, ansen's,centerlines we took those "ugly" ralleys off as soon as possible, now I'm tryin to find another set for my 85 so it will look stock go figure. Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
At some point I'm going to build a phantom style grill and incorporate my logo onto the center. Cut the pieces out of brass and have it all chrome plated.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
So just wondering, with that type of grill it blocks the headlights a bit, do they still work alright as headlights or not really, never thought of it just that I like the phantom grill.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I have a phantom grill like that and my headlights work fine with it.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Took those photos a a local classic cars' meeting on Friday, where the 80' C-10 was unveiled following a restoration (an unfinished one if you ask me). There was also a 74' Sierra on site:
