it may be a state-issued VIN. Almost looks like an engine pad code, but too long for that. not correct or not original, that's for sure.

That's a nice truck. Too bad the prices on these once-affordable C30s are following BJ trends too it seems - have seen several C30s in the high teens lately, but never used to, even very good condition ones. This one is pretty nice.

Not a craigslist find but on my local Facebook Marketplace. 1967 with a 1968-1972 step bed. Listed as an original 2wd truck put on an original 4x4 frame. Also listed as not yet road worthy, just project, $6500.

This truck is about 20 minutes north of me and I drove past it yesterday. I was going to stop on my return trip but I was running late, it was cold and spitting snow. Looked a bit rough from the road, paint is crap, so I figured the closer I got the worse it would get.

Anyone with interest let me know and I might be persuaded to go take a better look and photos.
