Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Ok, here is my 77 step side, I have owned it and used it on the farm since 1994. Still use it on the farm today, but no street driving as I no longer plate it. It came from the factory with a 250 six and 4:10 rear gears and HD springs. 350 auto trans.

I had contemplated doing a restoration, as I had good luck with my Dads 83 long bed that I did a couple years ago, but I am afraid this one is too far gone. You know it is bad when you lose a 20 foot long chain that was laying in the passengers floorboard!!

Probably not to most people's taste around here, but these two have been a big influence on my build. 70's style, baby.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

I'm sure those guys at lower level customs got the inside line on some of those custom touches their trophies at the show were cool too/ similar .one of their sponsors was DC customs too they do custom metal work / bead rolling another was Welches chop shop custom metal / CNC plasma work never dealt with any of them yet but the people I met there at the show were cool not sure if dropping their names is cool or not here ,but I can see they are talented for sure I'm sure someone will let me know if not.I'm not affiliated with them.

I thought so. I had an F150 and a Tempo that color...and I always have liked it!
