I think that's really well proportioned. With the streched cab and unibody it looks better than the standard "Trazer" conversion to me. Is that a full shortbox? It's hard to tell with the chop.

2" chop cab stretched 5-1/2" and shortened longbox. Can't remember how much the box was sortened. Also has the tailgate angeled in 5*. The orange stripe looks a lot better in person and goes very well with the orange herring bone interior.

Wow a black long box! Great looking, not to crazy for the red stripe. Is it the black paint or does the roof look slightly chopped?

I've seen this one in an issue of Custom Classic trucks. I was amazed as to how much detail was touched on with this build. It is a beautiful rig. It walked away with trophys on its debut showing.

Correction: It is in the Classic Trucks magazine. (Sorry) It is in the April 2004 issue, titled "The best '69 Chevy ever?"

Here is my 72 Cheyenne Super C20 Custom Camper converted to a 4x4. It has it's original BB 402, cloth houndstooth inserts in the bench seat, manual throttle switch and wood bed. I have a few things that I need to do to it, but they do not come much nicer.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

I was hoping to find a truck with a fact tach, but when I saw all of the options on this thing and the kind of shape it was in, I had to get it. (And for under 10K.)

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

I think you would have been looking for a while to find anything better. You did good. I don't think I have ever seen a factory BB in 4X4. I thought the 4X4's were all SB.

502 3x2's, I did not think that 4x4's came with BB either, but the glovebox tag said L47-400 ci V8 Engine. Maybe this came out of Canada, but the vin has a z in it showing that it came out of Fremont. Where is Fremont?
