Nice k5 clos69! I'm not usually a big fan of the factory height but your truck is definitely rockin it. Love the color too

I'm glad to see this thread revived.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?
Give me a little bit, I have more or can take more. I plan to document the whole 6.0 swap here in a few days so I should have a ton of pics then too.
Ya I've been on the fence about the trim, I like it the way it is, but I'm also a stickler for the stock appearance. But it's staying this way until I feel like tearing the whole thing down for a redo. Right now the truck is presentable, but in my humble opinion it's just not nice enough to warrant sticking $800 worth of wood trim moldings on it right now. When in reality I'd like to give it another paint job anyway. Besides it's my daily driver, I make it too nice and then I'll worry about it too much |

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?
Here is an interior shot. It originally had orange highlander in it but it needed redone. So I put houndstooth in it. Wifey didn't like the highlander anyway

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?
I hear ya. I'm also a stickler for stock appearance so mine is going back to Ochre and everything the way it is, only changes will be 33's and a stage 2 700R4 trany. Only 4000 miles on my 290 crate motor so I'll have to wait for any major engine swap, lol.
It does look clean tho without the trim........ |

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?
I know what ya mean, I grew up in Ohio and dealt with my fair share of rust. For the last 20 years I had been coming out here and buying cars anyway, so I figured I may as well move here and save myself all those traveling expenses

We've had our share of raised jeeps and blazers over the years, I'm pretty much done with that I think. Especially since we daily drive it. It's our version of an SUV to haul the family in and I can't bare to put steps on it. |

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?
I am trying, frame has been cleaned and painted have a fresh 402 Big Rock, Turbo 400 and NP-205. Front/Rear ends were in excelent condition. The blazer came out of northern NV and had only 70K orignal miles. It had a rare blazer option of 16" x 6.5 wheels I have 3 looking for One more. Its been a 3 year project with other projects taking center stage (27 ratrod, 49 chevy pickup & family life) I will get some more pictures of the project has it progresses. I hope to have motor painted this weekend and ready to install??

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?
There are some fine rides on here. Here is my new ride. Bought it on Friday. Original Texas K5 CST. One family truck with all documentation and records. Sat in a garage for the last three years. Been wrenching on it some everyday. I call it "IT". I tell people I found IT. I will post more later with progress.
