Cool find. I will be watching this one progress....I hear a lot of people talking about the upcoming "Good Guys" event. Is there a spot you all gather? I will be there and would love the chance to meet some of the dudes I only have had the chance to read about up to this point.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

So much of the cool stuff is hidden under the bed floor on this truck.

All the cool powdercoated Porterbuilt suspension, Accuair air management, aluminum fuel cell, detailed and coated exhaust,... all hidden.
No one realizes the amount of work that goes in to building such an amazing truck.

We need pics from the 4-post lift!

All you have to do is shrink your head & look under the truck....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Awesome truck. I thought about wheeling my truck over to the "trick truck" area to be judged, but after seeing yours and a few others I didn't think it would be worth the gas.

Didn't win any awards but I did get a photo shoot for Classic Trucks!

We really don't have a place we meet at, we just park where ever we can find a spot or two.......don't be shy, come on over and meet us

It's at the house getting a couple of things worked out so it might be a while before you get those 4-post pictures

That's not true, you should have come over and parked...... I got a free dash plaque out of the deal.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

Here's a few pictures of bed spreader bar that I drew on a napkin and Nate and the crew wiped out for me. It's adjustable so I can move the bed until tailgate lines up and shuts correctly (or better). I let Nate tell you the name of it.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

I've got a couple more questions for ya. Did the 67's ever have any of the following: White grille area, white roof, white below the side moulding? I'm trying to decide what combination of things I want to do. I don't really care what is "correct," but I do really like the way your truck looks. I always envisioned doing the white grille are, white roof and side trim...decisions, decisions.

The 67's had white roofs but they only painted to the rain cutters and didn't come down the door posts. I have never seen one painted in the grille area or below the side molding but I could be wrong.

Like Scoti said, it's exhaust tubing that I piece together and then seal the inside with motorcycle gas tank sealant to keep it from rusting, bodyworked the outside and painted flat black.

Got to looking at some of the pictures I've taken the last two years while building this truck and thought I would show a little before and after shots.
