Re: SPID Picture thread?

Here is mine. Interesting it has auxiliary battery and camper wiring, but there is no aux battery tray. When I got the truck, there was a battery in a box in the bed, wired up to one of the junction points, no relay.

My latest one. It's borderline scrap but short 4x4's aren't too plentiful.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

LOW OPTION ENTRY! This was a 71 GMC I saw today. His Dad's truck bought new. I was surprised to see 'leaf spring' as I thought all GMC's were leaf spring standard? If so, It really has no options. Just over 100k mi and pretty much original.

If the condition of the spid is an indication of the rest of the truck, then it must be very clean. I always thought GMC's were all standard leaves too.

Good question. My first thought was it was a long bed scratched out. Per the model on the left it says 09 which indicates it is a long bed. although I see no evidence of a frame cut. Which leads me to possibly believe the cab was put on a factory swb, when it was restored a while back.

Maybe it was cut but I’m not seeing it correctly? Any thoughts on how I can confirm this was a cut long bed or a different swb frame. Any input would be appreciated, I’m new to the c10. Thanks.
