Re: Suburban and panel finds

That looks like a really good buy! Too bad I already invested in a rusty one!

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Funny how different parts of the country see these burbs and trucks. I see that I would be spending 3300 dollars on a burb that needs an incredible amount of work (everything), and thousands of dollars invested just to make it halfway decent. Its not all that far from me, a nice scenic drive over the pass.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

The picture is super dark so I’m not positive (plus I’m looking at the tiny picture on my phone) - but is the back seat in the chalky yellow 70/67 there a split? It looks like a 2/3-1/3 seat.
I don’t recall seeing one in these years if that’s what it is. Anyone know if that was available?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

The second row seat is definitely an early square body second row Burban seat. Same as the one I put in my Burban. No idea on the 3rd row.

Gold 68 C20 396 Burban $12000. Not mine. I would have posted more photos. With a white roof it could be an 50 year anniversary special. Actually I don't recall anyone ever saying anything about 50 year special Burbans. Any one know if they existed.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/p...329146949.html

Quite the Burb nice to see the money went to charity.

Since we seem to like to do this there are a couple of things I would change. Id do the paint scheme more like Robs Super Burb and paint the roof and pillars the same color as the middle area, wouldnt look so top heavy to my eyes anyway. Ditch the steps and put some more period steps. And lastly the same with the roof rack thingies ... go more period.

Again, really nice ride!

A white roof would be cooler inside too! And since I mentioned the inside I was surprised to see such a baggy headliner. It looks like the headliner in my 91 Blazer.

It looks to be about 45 minutes south of me. I would be available next weekend to go take a look if you need some eyes on the rust.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

* NOT MINE - JUST SHARING *

1972 Chevrolet Suburban C2500
5.7L 350 V8 with a 700R4 Auto trans

Hello hello,

Selling my 3 door C20 suburban. This is a 2wd (NOT 4X4) truck with the raised c20 3/4 ton factory chassis and suspension. I have 3 bench seats all matching even though you only see two in these pictures. Upgraded bluetooth stereo and speakers with a subwoofer and amp under the mid seats. Has a 350 V8 with a Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor and recently redone dual exhaust and headers. 700R4 automatic transmission with steering column shifter. I believe both engine and tranny are from a mid 80's truck, this is not the original motor or transmission. This was the first year Chevy introduced disc brakes to these trucks so it has the front disc brakes, power steering, and original AC which is currently not connected but still works. Very easy and fun to drive. Brand new Toyo Open Country A/T III 285/75/16's on original steelie rims.

This is a beautiful car, very classic, and incredibly unique. You will not be able to go anywhere without people staring at you and recognizing the vehicle. Whether you want it or not people will know who drives this and where you are at all times, it just stands out in every situation. This car is incredibly fun to drive and relatively easy for 1972 due to the power steering, upgraded transmission, and disc brakes. The seats are very comfortable and keep you seated high and above traffic. I was supposed to sell this suburban years ago and continued to fail to put it on the market because i'm in love with it and really do not want anyone els to own it.

Please understand this suburban is not perfect and has flaws which I will point out. The front passenger fender has deep scratches in the paint as you can clearly see in the pictures. There us rust breaking through the paint in the lower doors, tailgate, and rest of body as seen in pics. There is no shift indicator on the steering column, currently does not have the passenger rear door handle, I have new locks and keys but have not installed (possible I will have these fixed soon), the motor does leak oil (very slowly) and needs topped off occasionally. No side moulding/trim or emblems. The interior is missing the door, side, and ceiling panels and carpet has some stains.

Am in absolutely no pressure to sell this vehicle. Im asking $26,500 and am open to offers, Crypto, and trades. Can deliver the vehicle depending on negotiation. Clean CA title and currently registered.

Please email or text. If you call leave a voice message I will get back to you.
