Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
From my experience the tempered glass lasts a good long time. I bought 3 of them several years back and I am on #2 so far. you have to be aware of the bounce in the cabinet and try not to aim the gun so when you are blasting the edge it is not firing right at the glass, or bouncing off the material right at he glass. You can gain some more life by switching hands too. If you are right handed the left side of the glass will be pitted the most and difficult to see through. Switch to left handed and view through the clearer side.

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
Why should you convert to electric? any questions, ha ha
and that was no where near fill up of the 21 gallon petrol tank of da wife's 2010 Honda Pilot, but the pump quit Quick Maff, $100 bucks twice a month is $2,500 per year so I can buy two almost three BMW 530e battery packs every year with that money and since I have two 2018 packs already that tells me they is at least good for three plus years - Good Times! |

I've said this before and I'll say it again DeWalter White is my most utilized horse in the stable

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
then we cut out the proper shapeness roughly (going a bit bigger than need be, we can always trim the excess material off)
Note how the 4 1/2" angle grinder went from a wire wheeler to a cutterizer by simply switching the attachment |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
oh yeah, since no one asked, lemme tell you about my spark machine setup
runnin typical 3 parts Argon to 1 part Carbon Dioxide commonly known as 75/25% blend for sheet metal (which is way harder to weld then them 1/8th inch brackets) I like to use .025" wire for that I try to remember to swap to the .025" roller as well as the .025" tip hope that helps some of you Young Padawans out don't mind the settings ie the knob position in this pic they got twisted by accident to the max Last edited by Gregski; 04-11-2022 at 11:47 PM. |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
also I don't read sheet music, I go by clock position, so for this type of thickness or I should say thinness, the wire speed is at 9 o'clock and the poweridge at noon
Top Tip: if the wire coming out of your gun is bouncing off or tapping the piece you is trying to weld, the wire speed is too fast, turn it down Last edited by Gregski; 04-11-2022 at 11:47 PM. |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
counting them extra 17 holes in the floor boards I think 206 holes done and 180 to go, it aint perfect by any no means but maybe two gallons of bondo and some distance will make the firewall look real good
oh dingle dangle, I still gots to do that BIG circle, darn it! |
