Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Hey everyone, Here is my 77 K10 Scottsdale. My Grandfather bought it new and then gave it to my right after I got out of high school back in '97 it had
50000+ miles on it when I got it. Now it's more like 200000+ and on its second motor. I would love to fix it back up, but I have another project that I'm trying to do. The Pix are from 2002, so it has more rust on it now. This is my first time Posting so we'll see if I get the picture on it.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Thanks. I can't wait to start fixing it up. Maybe I can do a little here and there as time and money will allow. I really want to fix some of the places that are starting to rust just so it doesn't get out of hand.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
I'm new to the boards but here is mine a 1966 el camino on a 1970 blazer frame. Future plans- New paint, new interior, 35" pitbull rockers, line-x undercarriage bed and floor along with inner fender. A portable winch hitch setup, and possibly a swap to a new crate motor.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Here's mine, I bought it November 09 and spent all last winter tearing it apart, sanding it down to bare steel and removing 5 gallons of Bondo out of dents that were easy to pound out. It's a 72 GMC with a rebuilt 350/350 trans. I replaced both bumpers, glass, complete interior, all the weatherstripping, etc. Replaced the distributor with HEI (thanks dave!) I am very pleased with how it turned out, it feels nice to drive something 38 years old that is just as nice (if not better) as it was when it was new. I honestly wouldnt trade it for a brand new one!
This is the first paint job I ever did and the first body work as well, I had to learn a lot along the way but it was well worth the effort. I am going to repaint my 69 C10 next winter. Anyway here are a few pics. |
