I`m not sure how many were run off in error.I just found this one.I think I`ve seen one on Ebay, too.

So,Chuck, you sent that`89 to the crusher, huh?I like that Blazer.I must have missed that red one.The only red one I knew about is the dark metallic red one with gold wheels.

Yup, I'm not a big fan of the 88-up body styles. This is the red one with the gold wheels. I haven't seen a dark metallic red one...

Re: Die-cast 67-72

The 67 panel that spec cast did. I only have about 4 I think. I was just looking to get one done like I want the real panel project to look like. I also have a bunch of the 67 fleetside 20 TIS and 67 fleetside LOC Riderz I could try to get him to paint. He says that he is willing to do some more of the 69 stepside harley trucks, but hasn't elaborated on it. WES

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Someone mentioned earlier that johnny lightning was going to put out a john deere blazer. I saw a different john deere johnny lightning today (found another boondocker), but couldn't find any blazers. Did some searching, and the 4 car set will not have a blazer. http://collector.johnnylightning.com...eere/index.asp

Anyone have different info on this?

Re: Die-cast 67-72

OK. I checked another site: http://www.1stopdiecast.com/

The release you are referring to is "release 1" and the one with the Blazer is "release 2" .
I couldn't get an exact link. Check under Johnny Lightning--John Deere.
Still no pic of the Blazer though.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Those were the best years of Nylint. They had a deal with Ford and the trucks were true replicas. It always bothered me in the late 50s/early 60s how they put whitewalls on toy trucks that were semis. It`s cool on the pickup models,but...They all did it:Tonka,Buddy-L,Structo,and Nylint.
$70 seems high.If it was in excellant condition it would be worth 5x that price. With missing pieces and in that condition it`s just a neat old toy worth about 1/2($35),IMO.Not that someone won`t pay it.
