Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
that looks great!
presents a question tho in my mind....maybes its just the angles of the shot...but looks like the turndowns are a little too turned down? I mean, are they pointing downward enough to cause a dust cloud when you start it/rev it up? Especially on chalky/sandy roads? I had one once that did that...not for long tho.

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
The angle is as appears and I appreciate your criticism but unlike your truck this one hasn't seen a sandy chalky road and probably won't! If you wanna review the build up you most likely will determine that this truck isn't a daily like the one the one you had that travelled the chalky sandy roads! And in case you were curious the transmission cooler continues to work awesome just as the other 20-30 we've used!

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
the angle of the tips were designed so that with the truck at full upward suspension travel, it would clear the rear axle housing, shooting the exhaust under the axle, rather then directly at the axle....in the pics keep in mind that the suspension is fully deflated..
Also like killer says, i dont think this will be driven down to many gravel roads.

criticism? really? I don't think I've ever meant to "criticize" one thing that I've seen 68 short step do...at least if it sounded that way it wasn't meant to. If I wanna review the build? Been doing that since I found it months ago and I am fully aware of what type of build this is...and who's it is. That's the exact reason I made the comment I made....in an effort to help "the owner" of this sweet eye candy to keep it clean...as you don't have to be on a road of dirt...to encounter it. and my question about the cooler was a valid one. it just doesn't look up to the task of cooling a transmission all by itself but evidently with those type of coolers... looks can be misleading. if you don't ask questions...you don't learn the answers. Doesn't mean you're trying to criticize. sorry if I upset anyone...never intended to.

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
Oh, you didn't hit a nerve, continue to ask all the "questions" you'd like, as there much appreciated but the owner has the keeping it clean part down (that's the easy part). I'm sorry you continue to have reservations about the cooler and only hope you find an efficient one that works for you. Take my word for it no short cuts were taken on this build..hope that assures ya and maybe you can see it directly at a show coming your way! Thanks!

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
just a tad bit more metal work.. the bulkhead for the main wiring harness was relocated, and i had to make a pass-thru on the driverside lower cowl area, for the under hood wires...there wasnt alot of room between the outer fender and the cowl, so i made a little wire channel to run along... here are a few pics of it
