Re: How about some pics of 47-59
That is a very nice truck the body looks perfect, the black gives it a classic look.Is the truck body stock or has it customized at all? Can you post more photos of the engine and interior would enjoy seeing the rest of it.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
the body is pretty stock except for the front bumper being narrowed and chopped to fit better (not sticking out) and a frenched in antenna, the bed floor was raised about 2-3 inches to allow it to lower with bags, send me your email and i can send you to an album of pics i have, see ya jeff

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Acquired my 1947 Chevy from my Grandfather who bought it new... Got it home about two months ago and working on getting it running. I think I have my work cut out! Always open for suggestions, advice and information. Thanks.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Oh yeah, it's a tree. It was a good 3 or so inches in diameter coming right up between the cab and the bed. Crazy! It was a persistent little booger too. Took about an hour or so to cut it out.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Ogre_that truck is amazing. I'd die to have a truck from my grandfather. I was so relieved just to get a pic of my pap in my truck. I'd leave the patina, try and get the engine going (possibly re ring, bearing and gasket it) convert it to 12 volt, maybe lower it and put some all black rim and tires or white walls on her.
53olchevy_ nice 52 you got going, good stance and tuck. What is that rear and what engine you got?
