Dump another $100 grand in there and then you can play, although I don't know what you could do to improve it.

I just read your post on having your truck in the Starbird show... I showed at Starbird for about 5 years back in the nineties... I can tell you the judging for those shows are nothing short of just a joke just like Starbird... Darryl Starbird is originally from Mulvane Kansas and has claimed he built a lot of the well known cars... The Facts are he built very few of them... So when you loose at a Starbird show just consider yourself a winner... |

Sounds about right... LOL... I don't even attend the shows anymore... I was within 50 miles of you over the weekend... came close to trying to come see you and Cloud 9... We are looking at a vacation home on Grand Lake...

Hard for me to imagine one much nicer than yours there let alone a handful of them. Sorry to hear that.

Mike, Did you use an after market shifter linkage set up with 700r4? I have been looking back through your thread for at least an hour..so I'm just going to ask! I was there any mods needed where the linkage hooks up to the trans fork? Thanks man.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
that colour matched and pinstriped gascan is a nice touch
there was a show here on discovery a while back that dealt with "restoring" a beetle : https://www.youtube.com/results?sear....1.tlftaRvZ2gk they did sumtin simulair to a vw campervan : https://www.youtube.com/results?sear....1.bDUzmYIcNFE i was sitting there looking at the tv going like I WOULD NEVER FIX THAT ONE EVER , it was more rust and holes than van , made for a good show though

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Some nice trucks there! You forgot to show us your layout....
Love the VeeWees too. The dude that bought my bus has a build thread on the Samba - full-on rotissere. It's fun to follow that along. Did the Ghia make the Fine Nine? It's pretty radical! Thanks for sharing!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Thanks for the great pics!
My wife woulda picked something like the Nova, also---but not the woodie. I got her a classic once and she dissed it. She said, I want something that goes from 0 to 140 in three seconds. So I got her a set of scales.
