I got the longbed washed, and the shortbed is sad and dirty in the background.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I rebuilt my alternator today. That rear bearing was *NOT* fun.

He has been posting here for weeks. I was wondering when someone was going to break the news to him. Or maybe he's trying to be as cool as the rest of us.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Today my truck got its motor bay and undercarriage steam-cleaned to remove 48 years of gunk in preparation for some wrenching.
Yesterday it got some lettering on the doors. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Drove my wife to visit her Daddy in the cemetery.
He always wanted to ride in my 1965 C10 "Sally" but he left us before I got her done, so I take my wife in Sally so he can see her while we visit, he seems to ride back home with us in my wife's heart every time. He causes her to cry.... "Bill" was a good man, and I am sorry I didn't work fast enough! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Installed my junk yard sway bar today. Purchased it back in late winter and then had to shelve it when my starter blew, requiring emergency attention. I understand why everyone that's added a sway bar says it's a must, the handling is so much less Titanic like.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Finished cutting up the spare frame and turned it into a cab dolly. Rolled it up under the car port and loaded the scrap on the trailer.
Should be done assembling the frame this coming Sunday and then wrap it up and move it out of the way so I can start patching the BBW cab. Steven

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
It's a shame those have never been reproduced. They can be such a nice improvement. Many trucks could benefit by adding one, but the rarity and expense makes it impractical for a lot of owners.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I think so, too...I guess since to make it fit over that belt line, it is a little odd in shape (not muck of a lip for the clips), nobody has taken the time to reproduce it. I found it among a bunch of Chrysler Imperial trim parts that a vendor had in a pile on a tarp at the swap meet. I got it for $5 since it was kind of mangled (it looked like someone tried to fit it over a drip rail at one point)...it took me a couple of weekends to straighten, hammer and grind out the dings and creases.
