Re: What did you do to your truck today?
It's kp components. As soon as my buddy gets his plasma cutter back from the shop, the bottom piece can go in then final welding. Once it's done, we can start on the 4 link, while I am waiting for my dropmember and control arms!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Well the weather is finally starting to dry out and I can get started on the truck. I have decided to get the Rhino done and the paint on it and next year when I get another tax return the motor and trans and new wheels.

Got tired of the terrible lighting. Swapped out the incandescent sealed beams for some Ecode H4 lenses. These ones I fitted also have city lights built in. Think it makes it look super classy!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Emblems and mouldings aligned and mocked up...interestingly, I welded up more than 110 holes (some 2 in. in dis.) in the firewall, floor and various areas in the cab drilled by the previous owner. I had to drill 88 holes for the mouldings and emblems.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I finally got to work on the tailgate today. I was going to have it blasted and then do the work but decided I have spent too much on the truck this year so I took a wire wheel to it with a drill. Turned out good. ground all the rust off then two heavy coats of rust inhibitor-treatment. I'll finish the coating later if it doesn't rain.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
That turned out nice. What a lot of work. I hate sanding and stripping more than just about anything else, but sometimes it just has to be done the hard way.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I agree sanding and stripping is a real chore. I am in the process of taking my whole truck down to bare metal. It had been painted 5 times over the years counting the original and I didn't think it needed number 6.

Installed the rear 4" springs today and the 7 blade fan. Also got to follow a new '14 in town. Good looking truck!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
finished fabing up some trans mounts and sent of the first half of a two piece drive shaft to be made. the trans mounts look horrible and will make better ones later as i'm still learning this whole welding/metal working thing but in the words of someone famous,
