Making the decision to take the blue one apart was the hard one, but I couldn’t be happier that I did it.

Very nice Joe!! The blue 72 4x4 was my other dream truck. Landed on the 67 4x4 red. But I love what you did on that 72 blue very nice indeed!!!

Joe, what did you end up using for dye? That blue is a hard color to replicate it seems.

I used SEM paint. The original floor mat was the perfect original unfaded color under the sill plates. I took it to the paint store and they color matched it perfectly

Found a pic of my old 71K20. I was second owner. Hindsight this is the truck I should have held on to. It was in pretty nice shape and I would have saved tons of money by not buying subsequent car and truck projects … Just seems to be the way I roll though lol.

Also found another pic of my 68K20 that used to be Livrats and now belongs to Randy500. He's since converted with a 68 Chevy nose. Its another coulda woulda
shoulda trucks for me.

I recently reaquired my 72K20 Burb, but its been demoted to K10 (its in a zillion or so pieces haha).

Just sealed the deal on this 72 K20 a few days ago and working on arrangements for transporting right now. This make 3 K20's and still looking.
I was planning for this truck tot be my first LS swap truck. Working through all of the details and getting ready to pull the trigger on a few items I need for the swap. I already have a 4.8 LS motor ready to go.
