Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
The Cragers are 15x7 and 16 by I think 8". The centerlines are 15x7 all 4. The Cragers are $300, and the Centerlines are $200 plus shipping. But it's a PITA to ship wheels.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
I'm done with the right side, now I'm working around to the left including the roof. What's nice is it's on wheels and I can turn it anyway I want.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
mines on wheels also. I should have put bigger wheels on it so I can Slide my engine hoist under it better. Next time. Think the six lug wheels of my 64 would fit the 6 lugs on my 52? They should be the same huh.?

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
maibe you can get some one to lend you an old set with bigger offroad tires until the cab is placed , would make it eazier to work under the car as whell they dont even need to be roadlegal just able to hold air

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Are you serious? The wheels have tires on them and would cost you a lot to ship.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Painted the back of my new chrome grill, and straightened and painted the brackets. Here's a tip of how to install a new grill. Align the holes with a punch and then clamp them with a vice grips. then pop rivet them in. I had trouble because there were bent. I painted behind the grill to protect it from rust. I also cleaned up the Cragers. They do look good. I think I'll keep them after all.
What do you guys think of the Bowtie in the grill? Should I loose it?

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
If I were you I would get rid of the grill. It just is'nt you. I don't think it does anything for the truck. I liked the other one you had. It's not really doing thing different. All that said you can send it to me. It's in really good condition. How do u type inbetween the pictures?

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
To be honest I cant say I really like the bow tie right now. I think it you put the bumper and hood on with the lights it might look better, But right now I'm not feeling it. So I say send it to Dave and send me the Cragers.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
I install the lights, and took off the Bowtie. I think it looks better without. I'm thinking of bullets across the middle.
