Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Well still haven't heard anything back from FiTech. Last communication was Saturday. I emailed yesterday and never heard back. When I find out you all will find out.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Got this email From Jeremy today.
We had a guy with a truck that had a fuel line getting pinched between the body and bed – it would happen during acceleration – maybe check that out! Otherwise, try out the calibration that I put in it. If it’s way off, first let it do some learning (no rapid movements of the throttle, and do cruising). Then make adjustments to the ACCEL FUEL stuff. If you’re getting cold start problems (fires, dies, can’t fire again until key off) – I have a new fix that will be releasing in a day or so. It’s just a quick-fix to recover quickly from the brown-out that happens when the voltage drops when the starter hits and the power connection is not in a great spot. So, let me know, and I’ll walk you through the update (it’s easy). |

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Got this from Ken.
System is fine nothing wrong or malfunctioning, needed some acceleration tuning and transient tuning… You should be old to go. |

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
So at this point waiting for it to show up and put it on and see what happens. I know my fuel line isn't pinched anywhere. They sent a new o2 also. Also I have a new battery and it is direct wired to FiTech now so we will see.

Good news. RodsGreen10 adder unit and mine don't have the same problem relating to the cold start issue. This is good news that there is not some built in issue... Going to look into getting some of those head lamp for my ride..... Thanks for letting me stop by.......Good luck. Ray. |

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Lol. Thanks I guess. I put leds in so I could see better. When I decide to drive it to work @4am it is nice being able to see a deer a half mile away. Plus it trips ppl out seeing them at the shows. Everyone thinks they are Harley lights. You and my mom are the only ones who don't like them lol. It's just headlights. I have a hard time being happy with what I have. Drives my wife crazy!! I always think something could be better. Is that bad? No and yes!!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Yep. Just like the MSD heat module. Tested module it is bad. Now moving onto test the pickup coil. I am done with MSD and maybe crane aka fast ****. I will either get a Davis Unified setup or Pertronix.
