Re: Hazel the older Sister....

Keith now that your done, and it's up and running how do you like driving this work of art? We all know she sweet looking but for me i like the details of how she goes down the road and how it handles. Is she as fun to drive as she is to look at?

Thanks Ray

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

It's not "done" I'm still working on all the little things I had to skip to get it to the show. I'm also tuning it and with any luck will have it on the dyno in a few weeks........I have only driven it about 10 miles but I will tell you it rides extremely nice and I had it only about 2" off the ground for the last 5 miles or so while I was trying to get the sweet spot on the air ride

That is really cool to here Keith! now i am 100% jealous! Good for you with all the hard work you put into it, it is nice to here your having some fun with it. When it's all said and done it would be cool to see a video of it rolling down the road just inches off the ground.

Thanks Ray

I was looking forward to going to the GG show, but we could not make it this year. I really wanted to see this one in person!

Easier said than done. I never thought about taking pics before we entered the show, and once we were inside Hazel and Stella Mae had a crowd around them all weekend. They were bot a big hit, but Hazel was the Prom Queen for sure. She had the guys lining up to three deep for a chance to see her.

Congratulations on two well deserved awards. That makes up for the clear oversight in Kansas.

Yeah,... I don't know what the deal was at Kansas.
People packed around it all day.
I guess the judges couldn't get close enough to see it.
Definitely a hit with everyone.

I appreciate the kind words but the simple fact of the matter is that Hazel is a patina old farm truck and 99 percent of the people don't get it and that's exactly the way I intended it to be!

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

She's easy on the eye's. But look close Keith has done an excellent job with all the subtle details. I took pictures at GG Kansas. Still finding things I didn't see the first time.

Take some pic's of GG Lonestar for us.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I hope you don't mind, I took a few photos from the Good Guys Lone Star nats. I was able to look over it pretty well on Friday. Your attention to detail is amazing. The truck is definitely something to look at.
