Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Tonight I took the truck out thinking the rain had passed for the night but I got caught in a down pour. When I got home my wipers wouldn't park correctly, anyone ever have this problem?

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Buck, I ordered a pb center drop member last week. I'm doing a 4 1/2 inch front and 6 inch drop on the rear. I also have ordered the pb 2pc notch, pb trac bar, and the pb tubular rear shock mount kit. Do you suggest that I have the PB crossmember built 1 in forward just in case a issue should arise?

Nope, you have a fleet side right? If so, you won't need to do anything different. For some reason the step sides have an issue with the placement of the wheel in the wheel well after lowering, but not the fleets.

Thats because the wheelwell on the stepside bed is 1" closer to the cab, than it is in the fleetside beds.

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

Made a little progress with my A/C install. I am starting by installing a Holley accessory drive I have the drivers side nearly complete, but I have a bolt that is giving me trouble on the passenger side. I'm taking a break for now, but I'll get back on it later tonight.

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

The Holley accessory brackets are installed and think they are really nice. Now that I have a length for my serpentine belt (106" + or -) I have been searching for part numbers. So far I have come up with:

Dayco
5061055 = 105.5"
5061065 = 106.5"

Goodyear
4061055 = 105.5"
4061058 = 105.8"
4061065 = 106.5"

I am going to pick up a couple of lengths in the morning, I'll post up what works for anyone who plans to use these brackets.
